Host a Table

Starting a GodLuck Chapter Is Simple

You don’t need a church, credentials, or a background in anything.

Just curiosity, kindness, and a table.

You invite someone interesting to spark the conversation.
A professor. An artist. An elder. A mystic. A scientist. A neighbor with a story.

Attendees bring the food and together you explore common ground in diverse, welcoming communities.

Snack Bar

Conversation Strengthens Bonds

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. We are 100% independent. We aren’t here to convert, preach, or promote any specific faith or dogma. We are a group of friends dedicated to understanding humanity, so we can make better choices for our shared experience. It’s more like a series of masterclasses in world cultures, explored over dinner.

  • Not at all — just curious. Our members include atheists, agnostics, and the deeply devout. All we ask is that you bring an open mind and a respect for the "architecture of the conversation.”

  • We ask that you bring a homemade dish. Why? Because the energy of a home kitchen is the best bridge between cultures. We’ll notify you in advance about the month’s theme so you can bring a dish that honors the geography or tradition of the topic.

  • Of course. It’s the effort and the "shared table" spirit that counts. If you're stuck, think simple: a traditional bread, a family salad, or even a batch of cookies from a recipe that means something to you.

  • We invite local leaders such as rabbis, imams, monks, historians, and priests - who can speak to the history, myths, and lived rituals. They are there to inform and share, not to recruit.

  • We have a few "Agreements." We prioritize listening over debating. We lean into "taboo" questions with radical respect. And we always honor the traditions of our guests, which means if we are hosting an Imam, the evening is alcohol-free. When in doubt ask your Chapter host. Converters, Disruptors and Jerks will not be invited back.

  • No. These are cosy gatherings where we operate on a "Commonwealth" model. While we share the cost of the potluck, individual chapters may have a small suggested donation or a "seat fee" to help cover any costs our guest speakers might incur. Check your local chapter for details.

  • Please do! We are always looking for "temple builders." If you’re ready to set the table for global peace in your backyard, connect with us and request a starter kit.

  • It’s simple and ambitious: to spark 1 million GodLuck chapters around the world.

We believe that small, local tables can quietly reshape global culture.

Research and social movements suggest it often takes around 3% of a population actively engaged to create meaningful social change. If enough people are gathering, sharing food, and practicing curiosity instead of division, the ripple effects are enormous.

This isn’t about building an organization.

It’s about building millions of small, human moments of connection that add up to something bigger.

One table at a time, we’re testing a theory: friendship scales. Peace Follows.
